Are you doing the cut & stitch method? How is the swelling?

He is a PS clinic @ Sultan plaza #02-01.

Tel:6293 4857/62954219

U can call up the clinic to check his PS prices. All I can said is very cheap & resonable

Cutting but stitching is involved, have 2 remove stitches this sat.

Not much swelling...think can go back to work after 2/3 days. [-o<

Hey myNose on pg 73,

I'm also considering to go to Korea. From this forum, I got to know Dr. Jung Dong Hak in Seoul, his web-site is www.nose.co.kr. With full English version and over a few hundreds of before and after photos.

But I'm still not sure whether he is good or not. Do you mind check with your Korean colleague? It would be very helpful for me to make the decision.

Like you, I'm planning to have the make over by the Chinese new year as next year suppose to be very good for me, must get ready!

Hi my Nose,

After ur post, i do sell email to the doctor an did some enquiry on the 1st recommended hospital. The doctor reply very fast, and very friendly to answer all my question.. but hor, the only thing now is they seem to be very expensive...

The eyelid surgery 1200~1400US$

The nose surgery 1500~4000US$

The zygoma surgery 5000~6000US$

but as for the accomodation, they have this admission room where we can stay for free.. which will be good for us.. hehe

So u are planning to make a trip to Korea? If u are, maybe we can go.. and i can consult the doctor and then will decide whether to proceed... But I guess the cost will be very great...

I was inspired by some of my korean colleauges who have very nice nose jobs done there.

There is this area in seoul call "Apkujong" that is known to be a famous plastic surgery street.

they gave me 2 hospitals: (highly recommended)

1) BK Clinic - www.bk.clinic.co.kr (dis is where the celebs go, the downside they say is tat ppl will noe that u haf gone for rhinoplasty becoz its too perfect..but i like)

2) Jae-lim Clinic (cant find any info on dis the net! tried http://kr.yahoo.com oso cannot) they say go for dis one if u want the natural look.

Been researching sooo darn long until hair turn white. Cant find Jae Lim! I want to do on the 26-28dec. but I need more info on which clinic n which doc to go in korea. Any koreans out there that can help me?

I want to make sure I get more info before I DO IT.

Sun, pls help me can? kam-sam-mi-da!

Hi F_F,

I agree BK hospital are v fast in replying our doubts. I agree the price is abit steep but I guess its the price for beauty. He told me he give me a 20-30% d/c because I told him I am a flight attendent. (I think he hopes I will bring him more business by telling more of my colleagues).

Btw I found the website of the other highly recommended PS clinic in Apkujong (after many nights of translation of korean to english) very hard to find!!

Pls check out this website:
http://www.jelimps.com/

I hope this helps!

Hi MyNose,

Thank you so much for sharing you information.

Initially I was thinking of going to Bangkok but since you mentioned about BK in Korea, I'm having second thoughts.

You mentioned that you have Korean friends who have done their noses with BK. Which doctor did they go to.

BK is reputable for actresses. You have any idea which are the stars? Any of your friends have sample nose that you think is good?

How about the other one Jelim....the website that costs you so many sleepless nights!! You said that its more natural. hhmm, a little confused. You have friends that have done it there before too?

In short, you have friends that gone to those 2 clinics/hopspitals?
Doctor that did for them?
What they did?
Costs?
Results?

How about yourself. If you don't mind me asking. What are you looking to do? What is he charging you and who is the doctor?

I look forward to your reply and sorry for the long line of questions!!

By the way, do you have an email add that I can write to you?

Nose and Eyelid Korea or Taiwan

Post by sonic_gal » Sun, 04 Dec 2005 6:37 am

Hi all,

I also been seriously considering going under the scalpel for rising the height of my nose bridge and opening up my eyes a bit.

By studiously following this thread, I've short-listed the following places as the contenders:
Taiwan:
Dr. Chang http://beautymaker.hypermart.net/english/simple.htm, or Jiang (as recommended by Jovin)
Korea:
BK Clinic - http://english.bkclinic.com/sub_02.asp
Jlimps - http://jelimps.com/eng/sub13.html (recommended by MyNose)
Look Plastic Surgery - http://www.look-biman.co.kr/eng/

Now, I know that a couple of you are planning to go to either one. My number one concern is aesthetic natural look and fast healing time. In terms of nose, those with minimum future complications (heard bad storied about using silicone).

So far, I haven't seen any pic for the work done by BK Clinic, Jiang, and Jlimps. Those posted on Chang and Look Plastic Surgery look very promising and the technique descriped in creating double eyelid is pretty advanced.

Advise, concern, pratical tips are much welcome. Anyone considering doing the same thing, let's plan the trip together.

I filed my jaw so that it looks sharper. Also I reduced the width of my nose and made it higher. I paid altogether about 7k plus. Did it in NUH. Can't comment on the results yet as the swelling is still great!

I didn't use implants ... or actually .. the implants that I used was kinda special .. and that's what told to me by my doctor. My "nose is pulled up by 2 strings that are inside my nose... However the strings are dissolvable by itself". .. I don't really understand what she meant by that. I can't really comment on my nose now as I am still having the splint on. But the tip of my nose is higher now... that I can see. As for my jaw part.... still very swollen ...
