I think i know the nurse u r referring to. She always wear her hair in a bun, has thin lips, always wear uniform and very pretty :) She's the youngest nurse there (20yrs old only) and the friendliest of jung's nurses. :)
Shermaine, glad to hear that your nose is healing very well :D
Keep us updated and all the best for those who are going to have PS
Thanks BlueberryMochi! And belated congrats on your successful surgery with Dr. Jung, too!

Yes, yes, that's the nurse I was referring to. You described her exactly the way I remembered her. I don't know if it's standard practice for Dr. Jung to assign a dedicated nurse, but she took care of me exclusively from immediately after my surgery through my last check-up. Very caring and always smiling. She was the first person to compliment me on how I look with my new nose. I really regret not getting her a small gift before I left!

Please consult PS doctors for tianqi coz anyhow consume chinese herbs during PS recovery is not a JOKE! Don't Play, play as it will crash with the antibodtics & cause side effects.

For my PS experience, just take more fruits, no seafood, no spicy food for faster recovery.

All the best for your PS
Isit? So Consultants in PS saloon who never did PS before shouldnt give advice to paying customers mah since they didnt do their PS before and are earning comm from it.

Who told you abt tianqi "crashing"? heard from those ah sohs' rumors ah?

well, maybe kalo's manager, who did so many PS at kalo, is lying abt her taking tianqi to assist in her PS recovery when she told me and the other customers...

Hmmmm my previous major operations, i took tianqi and fish porridge almost everyday during my hospital stay till i healed in 14 days time.

no problem or what so ever. maybe i should have died when tianqi "crash" with my medicine, during my weaken state, when i cant even moved out of my bed for 1 week.. or maybe my body is different from others.. :???:

my mum asked the specialist doc if i can take, he say keep it at least 2-3 hours apart from the antibiotics or other western medicine.. of coz i didnt take it during the 1st 2 days after my operation and i asked my sinseh and doctor personally if i can take it..

so kindly asked doctors or sinseh if tian qi suit u before listening to old folks' tales and so called "experiences".. however, do be careful with allergies issues.
Wow, why so big reaction over it? Anyway not happy don't read my post lor.. :P

Wondering what big operation? Circumcision!!!

Please end your childish act & post, no time to entertain you..enuff is enuff :-$

"ALL YOUR POST VERY MAO DUN LEH ???"
what ppl always said: Kiang jiu ho mai ke kiang!

We will see whether you will do your PS end of this year ok after 1 year of talking :???:

Hey,

Dr Chunag "All our charges include post-operative care and complication resolve, ex. wound infection or poor wound healing. We also offer one time of revision procedure with free charge if there's obvious asymmetrical appearance after operation."

I had the following procedures from Dr Chuang,

Open Rhinoplasty - osteotomy to narrow the bridge, base alar reduction, tip augmentation and silicon l implant. 60,000 NTD
Malaplasty - Cheek reduction/bone shaving. 150,000 NTD
Chin Implant - 60,000 NTD
Botox - About 800 USD.
Cheek Lipo - 50,000 NTD

Hope that helps.

Hi there MBK,
I went to Dr Fok (When his clinic was still in Paragon Medical) in May last year for a rhinoplasty. Am glad with the outcome and service, and am going back next week for an alarplasty and otoplasty. He now operates his own clinic in Mt E.

Cost-wise, I think it is reasonable, albeit there are plenty of cheaper options in Singapore. My rhino was $3800 last time, and he is charging me $2500 for the alar, and $5000 for otoplasty. Recovery time should be within the week, though I was out and about 3 days after my rhino last year.

Recovery was very smooth and painless that time (no bruising, slight swelling), and I am hoping for the same again. Will update you after my surgery next week. What are u intending to get PS for?

Yes, she's the only one who took care of me during my stay in a room above the clinic. And made sure I was treated first everytime I came down to the clinic for a checkup though there was a long line of patients waiting there.

Anyway, for those who are getting sillicone instead of goretex..
I had my first rhino in japan using sillicone and under some light my dorsum/nose bridge would look very shiny.. The 2nd rhino had it changed to goretex and very happy with it :D no more shiny nose

dentists in Korea

Post by Coby » Sat, 07 Apr 2007 12:58 pm

Hi all,
I'm planning to go to Korea this summer to meet Dr. Jung, too. While we are there, my mom wanna find a good dentist who can communicate in English to have a tooth implant . I asked Dr. Jung already, but he said he had no connection with the dentists. Soo...if you know any dentists in Seoul, please share with me. I'll appreciate it.
Thank you :)

Appletree,

The during your stay at taipei after ur op, the revision is free unless u asked for major changes from the initial agreed features.

after u are discharged from his care and left taipei than there will be charges or fees for revision, so dun worry too much ok?

no hidden cost or charges there. of coz there is many responsible doctors who practise that too.
Golden Rules of PS:
1)If it aint broken, dun fix it / dun fix what u dun need
2)Perfect individual features usually dun yield perfect face
3)Work on your confidence 1st

Hi Appletree,

Hotel cost ranges from 1,300 NTD (Charming hotels bit further than deja vu one which is about 2,300 NTD per night) to 3,500 NTD per night which is San Want Hotel which is round the corner from clinic.

Taxis are very cheap it will cost you at most 100-200 NTD to get around.

Food is very cheap you can get stall snacks and breakfast for about 30 NTD, Congee is about 70-100 NTD. Chicken and rice is about 150-200 NTD. Of course if you buy stuff from supermarket then its also cheaper.

Average:

So say a conservative estimate if you spare 3,000 NTD per night you should be fine thats considering you stay in a hotel costing 2,300 NTD spend 200 NTD on taxis and 500 NTD on food per day.

Cheap:

If you stay in the 1,300 NTD Hotel then you can spend 2,000 NTD per night.

Also don't pre-pay the hotel just reserve then when you get there ask for a discount thats how I managed to get the best prices because the ones they quote on the website are actually much more expensive than when you go there and ask for a room. E.g. rooms quoted at 3,400 on the website at deja vu only cost me 2,300.
