Very nice pictures Jang, not often we see such detailed before and after shots of mandible reduction.

There really is a tremendous improvement. No offence to the lady, if she slims down further, the effect will be much better

Yes i heard of it, its called fat transfer. I am starting a new topic -lipo & fat transfer- for breast though.
Don't know where you're reading from, but using body fat as a filler for the nose is a big no-no.

For some reason the before and after pics of your frd aren't showing up on my computer o_O
I can only see the rest of the pictures. Those bones..... *shiver*
I didn't think they cut that much off....I'm thinking of getting it done, I have a really really square jaw -_-
Also may I ask, how was her experience in terms of pain? Did she have to eat liquidy food for ages?
How painful is it?
Is her enunciation of words different now?

Thanks for sharing, I appreciate it alot!

EDIT wait I can see it now, I personally think she didn't need to do the surgery. Her face isn't square at all -_-
My face is ALOT squarer than that.

If you put it that way.. then almost nobody 'needs' plastic surgery. We all desire to look better. You can't deny that lady looks much better. An oval shaped face is an attractive feature in women

honestly, I think her original face shape was perfectly fine so imo, I wouldn't say she looks SO much better, cos she already looked fine. I always thought surgery if some of your features are pretty =/ looking, I mean for eg, I wouldn't do a boob job if my boobs were already decent sized, yet lots of ppl do it. It think that's sad. I mean going through all the pain, and spending money on sth when it's 'mei bi yiao' is alil :???:

Golden Rules of PS:
1)If it aint broken, dun fix it / dun fix what u dun need
2)Perfect individual features usually dun yield perfect face
3)Work on your confidence 1st

hello2....

i have been in dilemma over these last year to go ahead with the surgery... hope i wont regret it...

decided to carry out eyes n nose with roughly a week gap, beginning with eyes with dr chuang. If anyone has a surgery before (eyes Korean techniq) with dr chuang, sould you kindly share your experience of how long for the swelling to ease and how miserable the whole process was ?

Do you also think it would be a good idea and sane enof to go with nose after my eyes a week later?

Thankssss

You'll probably have to do it at the same time. Cos if you do it separately, you get charged more. Most ppl will undergo several surgeries at once =/

hi mintgtil :) where u from?

erm..i would like to do alltogether with a doctor coz i think it would be easier for a doctor to generate the final look but the problem is that dr chuang does not do rib cart nose and the same goes to dr hsu, who does not do eyes surgery.

I am still a bit uneasy with any unnatural implant in my body, what do you guys think? Anyone have any experience with rib cart nose?

I am in a real confusion whether doing both procedures within a week would be a good idea?

Any help will be greatly appreciated cuz i have planned my surgery for mid and late july respectively... final maneuver is needed =)

hey superman! Oh... I get what you mean now. Some other ppl have used rib cartlilage and the final result was very good. I think it should be fine to do it one week apart. And yah, I'm going to both Dr Hsu and Dr chuang as well ^^ , but I'm going round december. Are you going by yourself?
You're from singapore right? I'm not, I live in australia ^_~.

Superman,

I've checked with one of the Dr mentioned and he said that it is perfectly fine to do both at the same time. And looking at you'll be doing both with a week apart is even better. So no worries about that for im actually planning to do both within the same week! :)

by the way, Mintgirl, hope to be able to see u there....

@mintgirl n kittygirl8

thanks for ur much appreciated assurance...

umm...have a few more questions to ask if anyone could kindly assist me...

i m juz wondering how miserable will the Korean-method eyes after-surgery would be? I am a bit iffy if i could make it to kaoshiung from taipeh after my eyes job if it would be too miserable plus it would be a bit weird if ppl start to stare at my nicely swolen puffy eyes =)

and how long will the recovery period be for both eyes and rib cart nose?

most importantly, is anyone up for an adventure of a lifetime around this mid and late of july? ;) please let me know..i juz dont want to get lost with my barely functioning chinese language skills :)

oh @ mintgirl: i m not from singapore..i did live there for couple of yrs before. i m not sure where i m from to be honest, have been travelling a lot and now i live in uk. n Australia is cool :)

cheers guys :)
