At the moment I am considering Toriumi, Nassif, overseas, or anyone else I come across who is skilled with Asian nasal augmentation with rib grafting. If I go overseas, I would like a travel buddy, so if you're interested let me know. I live in Las Vegas currently.

A little history/update: I got rhinoplasty with silicone implant and ear cartilage graft back in October 2008 in Beverly Hills. I hated the results... I thought my bridge looked too high and unnatural. Also, the implant was crooked. In November, I had the implant replaced with one that is supposedly smaller, but thicker on the top. I didn't like the way it looked either for whatever reason. I thought it made my nose look huge, and I didn't look Asian anymore. So in January, I took the implant out, and left the ear cartilage in.

It's been 4 months since I took the implant out and I'm not very happy about my nose. It usually looks okay to me in the mirror, unless I view it from different angles. In pictures, it looks really bad. My bridge is now wide and blobby looking from the scar tissue. The ear cartilage left to my tip makes my nose looks overprojected.

I've been looking at old pictures and realized that I didn't look that bad when I had the implant in. However, I think I looked the best pre-op. I didn't need a nasal implant. But now that my nose is tweaked with scar tissue and ear cartilage graft, I think I will need to "reconstruct" it somewhat. I am looking into getting a revision at the end of the year/early next year, to wait a year, as advised. I think the best thing for me to do now is to augment the bridge slightly (not too much, because I recall hating the way I looked with a high bridge) probably with rib cartilage. I might consider gortex... but silicone seems to be out of the question since I've had two unsatisfied trials with silicone already. I really want this to be my last rhinoplasty, and rib seems ideal.

If you have any recommendations for doctors overseas who are skilled at rib grafting, please let me know. I'm Chinese and speak Cantonese, and I prefer someone who speaks Cantonese or English so I can effectively communicate.

Thanks for reading.
Hi, i have a similar problem..

removed silicone implant and bridge looks broad. and its soft when u feel it like a sponge instead of what shd be hard bone

My nose looks like a rectangle instead of a nice triangle formation from the eyes to the tip

Im interested to know what u mean by scar tissue?

i understand that when u insert a implant a capsule is form naturally by our body.

This capsule is like a pocket of when removing the implant, this pocket of space remains

Any idea is this permanent? any way to rectify this?

im thinking the only way is to replace a new implant to fill the pocket

also its been 8mths post op for me

I just had the most terrible experience there and the Head Suregon there screwed up my eyes badly, all i wanted is to fix my eyelids, but he ended up changing my eyeshape not for the better but for worse to create a very PS, deep, mean slanted look ( i used to have round eyes ). i advise all to stay away from there as the surgeon there does not listen and just do what he thinks is beautiful scientifically. Feel free to PM me if you need more info
sounds like a doc i know in SG! sucks!
has anyone have any experience with this clinic/ the doc in the name of dr Jo http://www.bandops.com/ - i was told that they only do revisional eyelids so i presume they are professional in this area. but their website seems not informative , i don't know korean so i could be wrong. anyone can help pls let me know as i am desparately trying to find an expert for revisional eyelids due to my botched job recently at the Dream clinic

Do you want to look natural with slight high bridge so you wont draw attentions that you had a plastic surgery or you want to look Eurasian?

I personally want to look Eurasian even though if my friends can tell I had a surgery. I want more drastic change. That is my goal. It's been three years I've been doing a lot of research. Now time has come. I want to get my nose done next month.

I've seen a lot of dissatisfaction from BK Clinic, dream clinic or any clinics just by reading a lot of comments here. I want to know WHY. Are you trying to maintain your Asian look while pursuing a nose job? What is the problem?

For me as a Filipino man, I want a drastic change, I want to have a high nose bridge and a strong chin. I don't care if it eliminates my Asian heritage. I am desperate to get my nose done. The problem is Dr. Jung won't answer my emails he is my #1 choice. I have no choice but BK clinic. Where do Korean Celebreties go? With my goal (EURASIAN LOOK), will have a problem in BK clinic?

I have more questions. I'm still pissed at Dr. Jung I emailed him like 3 times. Still no answer wtf is going on. Can someone help me? Any good seurgeons in Seoul? Where do Korean Celebreties go? Please help me, I am running out of time.
Dr Jung takes longer time to reply email since he's relatively busy. I went to get a face to face consultation with him and i am impressed and confident that he can do a good job - his clinic was SO busy and parents bring their kids to get their nose fix there like it's a very common thing; i wanted to have my eyelids revision done first so i haven't personally got my nose surgery with him ( and now with the botched job i got at Dream clinic i am still emotionally suffering so i wouldn't be considering nose job for a while ) . Dr Jung has an assistant Dr Jang, a very nice gentleman that speaks good english you can also try to email him at [email protected] ; good luck

Hi bettyw,

I am actually planning to go korea this oct or next year feb for a jaw reduction. Dream was one of the clinic on my list that i plan to go but after reading your post, im a little worry.

I have try to email them a few time but the email did not get through and i got no reply. Did you send any email and did you manage to get any correspond with them before going over? Or did you just go straight to the clinic and make an appointment for consultation then follow by the surgery? How does the consultation goes? How is the clinic environment? Is the doctor nice and are they attentive enough to your needs? Have you thought of going back to them maybe confront them on the unsatisfying result that came out? What makes you decide to go to them at the first place? Sorry for asking so many questions.. Hahah.. Hope you dun mind. =)

Hey, I'm interested in going to Korea this June-July. PM me at [email protected]. I'm scared to travel alone. I am pursuing Migo Clinic center. However we can share a hotel to save cost.

Hi..i'm newbie here.I have not done any plastic surgery before, but i always wanted to do double eyelid surgery. My eyes one is triple eyelid one is double eyelid.but both r not realli big either.

My parents will not allow me to go oversea for PS so i can onli opt for local surgeon. I have called Dr Martin Huang n the nurse quoted me 1) sewing method, $3500-5000+
2)cutting method $10000-13000
all exclude medicine n cream n stuff, onli the operation itself cost.

Heard that felicia chin plastic surgeon was Dr wong from glenn,i oso called the nurse there, she quoted me 2200++ with medicines. I asked her what type of methods the doctor does for double eyelid surgery. She keeps sayin i have to go down and let the doctor assess.I tink she oso dunno the procedures.

The price diff between these two doctors r realli big!dunno if dr wong is good.

Juz wanna ask,how much is the cost justifiable for a good double eyelid surgery?
has anyone done a good double eyelid with a local surgeon or anyone knows which doctor is good?
please please do share with me...i'm seriously searchin for a good n trustable plastic surgeon for double eyelids..
