Darn, I posted one of myself instead of you . . .
There is so much risk involved when you insert a foreign object into your system.
Indeed - please refer to the thread about getting pregnant from kissing
hi Rabbit, we really hope that ur surgery will turn out fine and healthy...Thanks for ur truthful and helpful feedback, it really helps lots.Rabbit wrote:Hello all,
Thx for your support!
After me, there's another forum reader (a lady) went to BK for surgery and our conclusion is... may be we expect too much from Dr. Kim, he seems is not as great as we expected.
1) Skill
She did eyelid and nose there and she said that the asymetric problem in the eyelid was still not resolved and nose, not very significant improvement in alar.
I feel my nose got improvement, but the front view is not quite nice, the normal nose contour is not there at all...
This is just to share experience in case there are rhino wannabe based on our previous posts and take the plunge. It's not bad mouth or advertisement... again read it with your own research and assessment pls.

She met another patient there and that patient also said that her alar shows minimal result. But we do need 2 to 3 mths to see the final result.
For bridge, HateMyNose was worrying his bridge is crooked too...but later seems fine. Another lady she met in the clinic to remove plaster, she can tell her bridge is not very straight too.

2) Aftercare
In short, don't hv at all. Like me, I was very worry about the swelling, wrote 3 emails (1) gortex or silicon, (2) swelling and pain (3) took pix of my nose inside the nostril to ask what could be the things happening for the swelling. He only replied (2) and ask me to take any antibiotics, end of story. So in short, PS is really partly depends on luck, if there's really some problem happen, I'm not sure if he will do revision for me free...
While another forum reader, he went to Dr. Jung and he told me the nurse did the stitches removal and Dr. Jung did a check after that. He taught him exercise to shape the nose and gave him a splint to wear at night to make sure the bridge is straight. All these are not available from BK... However, the key part is, that guy is not very satisfy with the result (at least currently), he find it not very natural, the bridge is too high.
