I know he's not as well-known as the others mentioned on this forum, but he is very senior in his hospital and popular with the Thais as well. He told me that putting a nasal implant alone would not be aesthetically complete in my case, cos higher bridge + no tip (I hardly had a tip) = strange. I was reluctant at first cause I was worried about swelling, but it actually went down faster than I thought. He also said to be careful, some surgeons will insist on doing implant only (previously I had sent photos to another surgeon, he insisted on implant only) cause implant only is easier money to make, and by adding tipoplasty. the surgeon doesn't raise the price by much, but tipo is a tricky, TRICKY thing to do.
I was also told that he is one of the only surgeons in Thailand who does breast implants through an armpit incison - no obvious scarring in the long-term, but takes a lot longer to do than normal under the boobs incision. He actually pioneered the technique.
Also Cosmedic Jetaways took care of me very well, sweet reps there - Dani who's an Englishman and a local girl Nang.

PS with Dr Chuang

Post by psgirl » Thu, 28 Jan 2010 5:58 pm

Hi,

I had a reply from Dr Chuang on double eyelids surgery.

For more information, you can check out www.christinekosite.com

I posted my past experiences and the cost of double eyelids surgery that Dr Chuang quoted me there as well.

Cheers!

Heard he is also very good with eyes. You can try emailling him about your condition.
He has pretty bad rep in the purseblog forum.
Dr. Kim is just....too commercialised. The descriptions of those who went to him sound like a factory production line.

Don't expect a personal experience and close patient doctor relationship, and followup might not be good, he's the super busy type of doctor.

He's definitely known for eyelids but I'd be cautious about the rest.
usually very good doctors do not have time to sit down and talk to you.but he definitely delivers results..and i heard he is good with eyes.don't know about the rest..
i've seen many who go to him come back with gorgeous eyes..but he is really expensive

My SO recently had some work done by Dr Preeyaphas in BKK. While I was there i saw the work he did on other patient's eyes....just amazing.

Double eyelid revision to make crease smaller

Post by plasticgirl » Tue, 16 Feb 2010 2:28 pm

Hi!

Just wondering if anyone had any successful double eyelid revision to make the crease smaller? And with whom? My crease is 6mm and it's been 3 months. Still very thick, deep and unnatural. I had it done to fix ptosis and now I really regret it. The ptosis look way better than what I have now.

PM me if you can't name your surgeon... if there are surgeons to avoid, please let me know too!

Thanks,
PG
