The oil came from running his hands through his hair? Have you noticed the prata guys are are not hairy just where the dough is spun over his fore arms? its like a regular waxing with the dough.
Mind you at least you can see whats going on, makes you wonder what goes on behind closed doors.

Try being 6'7" (2 metres). Kids that stare at you with an open mouth and when you tell them to turn around they do so just to point me out to their mothers. That is just the way it is. One thing Singaporeans still do not know is subtlety. Having said that I really do not care because a lot of advantages come with it in Singapore, the terms babe magnet and passive intimidation come to mind. I just never capitalised on the babe magnet part, apart from when it comes to my wife

He's been reading too many posts from his trollish moderators and some is bound to rub off after a while!
After all, we haven't had a good flame war on here for quite some time. Time to drum up business?

I searched '1964' as I wanted to see if the date had come up before, and if I'd posted a certain vid before. Well hello, I came upon this, an old thread that looks like it might be worth a read
Meanwhile here was my reason for that initial search. A holiday film from that same year, 50 years ago. A contemporary observer might express surprise that modern Singapore existed before 50 years ago, perhaps more so that it already looked way more advanced than the rest of Asia...
