No Pres Election . no Public Holiday :(

Halimah Yacob only one to get eligibility certificate, set to be Singapore's next President.

Madam Halimah Yacob is set to be Singapore's next President, with the first presidential election reserved for candidates from the Malay community headed for a walkover.

The 63-year-old former Speaker of Parliament was the only presidential hopeful to be issued a certificate of eligiblity by the Presidential Elections Committee.

Marine services firm chairman Farid Khan, 61, and property company chief executive Salleh Marican, 67, have been informed they did not qualify to contest the election.

So nomination?

Or do they still follow the process?

Coincidentally, last week the Power Team was preparing to field Polling officers, training was planned etc. etc.

And on the other hand, on the supposed polling day, another event was being considered for cancellation, but another "power team" told the event can carry on.

Seems some knew something, or expected some outcome confidently, and some didn't :D

I have nothing about Mdm Hallimah but everything against this BS.
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.
You've been arrested? Law Society of Singapore can provide referrals.
You want an International School job? School website or http://www.ISS.edu
Your rugrat needs a School? Avoid for profit schools
You need Tax advice? Ask a CPA
You ran away without doing NS? Shame on you!
