Tell me again, when you have survived here for 35 years like I have. You don't appreciate anything if you don't hear exactly what you want to here. That and the fact that you obviously do not read the newspapers or watch TV or surf on the internet else you would have know what those acronyms mean, doesn't mean "I'm" useless. You might need to take a hard look in the mirror.

Hey Subba115,
Yes there is a not-optimistic news. EP wasn't rejected nor approved, but company's rescinded the offer. Frustrating but well, it happened! I hope you guys won't have to experience this

I suspect that this is exactly the outcome that the MoM is looking for when they delay EP approvals... that the company will simply withdraw the application.

Sad to hear Anotom, I hope something else is waiting for you in the future instead..
Unfortunately StrongEagle has a point, that is exactly what they are looking for and then they can say that they "did not reject it". Do you know if they are deliberately delaying some applications or do they just put in minimum effort when liaising with external vetting companies?

Thanks very much Subba115. I will and I also agree with your point below.
It's always definitely better to carry more than one option than desperately waiting for one EP. I'm fortunate to have secured another offer shortly after the shrunken experience, which led me to an approved EP within 2 weeks. I'd say it's most likely that the previous company didn't advertise the job properly on Jobsbank which led to the consequence.
Good luck with you all
