I have knowledge in 2 PHP frameworks (Kohana 3.3.6 and Codeigniter 3.1.5), I can design databases up to the 3rd normal form, my UI designs are not that great but I'm working on it with twitter bootstrap and planning on going full custom css using less.js in the coming year.

I'm planning to move there by mid 2018 or early 2019, I'll try to get at least 6 months professional experience here first. What are my chances of getting hired in an entry level position/junior web developer? If my estimation is correct, my monthly expenses would be around SGD 2k so I'm looking for a SGD 3k+/month salary.
retrain in data analytics + backend developer (the real sort building app servers/layers) or (this is easier) mobile app developer. android if you don't have a macbook. ios AND android if you have one.

or try to exude some semblance of a mythical "full stack" app developer. real ones are like meteorites - difficult to find and always hoarded because they command good money.

with any of the above, you'll be hired in no time for the salary you're gunning for in many nearby countries - especially because you speak english. after a few years, you can head to many developed western nations with just your experience (legit degree).

you're young. it's not difficult to pick up skills needed to be a mobile app dev. but you are not a designer - so don't bother with UI unless you also happen to have fantastic graphic design skills. sorry, but this is also rare.

just understand what constitutes good UX (for users in developed countries), and don't go around giving employers any millennial BS.

don't bother with web unless you're going into that new-fangled google hybrid app. world. oyster. yours. but suck it up for a few years. good luck.

Thank you for the great advice. I'll keep that in mind.
