Indeed, SMS, great to see that we will hopefully have a fine turn-out. Looking forward to catching up with everyone who can make it to Muddy Murphy's on Friday 13th October.

What time do you guys normally kick off these days?

I still haven't fully recovered from the craft beer experience at Timber but if the wheat beer they serve is not for some mutated connoisseurs, why not.

well there was a "Slavic" food fest a couple of weeks ago, umm the only decent thing they had was a borsch but the kvass was worth it! i even ta pau'ed 2 litres of it. a litre of kvass there is 5$
and i can chug massive amounts of it
its worth a shot, if it fails there are pubs nearby we can change to.

I'm not familiar with it but the photos show some outdoor seating? Does that mean we don't have to scream at each other to be heard? If so, I'm all for it!

I'm all in favour of not having to scream too, TBH. Previous Eagles gatherings (going back a while now, obviously) were slightly marred for me by not being able to hear what people were saying. Too much loud music in my younger years has left my hearing somewhat impaired. Mind you, after everyone's had a few bevvies maybe they're not talking much sense any more anyway  .

Having said all that, I'm happy to go with the consensus vote and meet wherever is deemed the best place.

OK, so what's the verdict on the venue - Muddy Murphy's or Beerfest? SMS, what do you think?

It would be good to confirm a location and time, then we can see who will be coming along...

Ref, sorry you can't make it.

I'd say let's try Beerfest. The couple of times at Muddies is just just deafening, although centrally located. I'm usually hoarse the following day! If everybody is okay with it, I'm okay with it.

I also prefer Beerfest (or any lesser noisy venue).

Beerfest is good for me too!
