Intend to join the RSAF

Post by Svennov » Fri, 18 Aug 2017 4:03 am

Hello,

Im a 23 year old male Malaysian Chinese. Single and currently seeking a career in the military. Have prior military experience. Know how to operate firearns. Have a diploma in psychology from malaysian uni.

Ultimately I am interested at the prospects of joining the RSAF. Most curious, rsaf told me i need to be PR at least to join.

Im thinking of going through auxiliary policr for 2 years and applying for PR.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

best to check if there are any age limit and whether or not you can pass the physical when you are 27+ yo.

also, 2 years as APO may not get you SPR. plan ahead for that delay too.

is your school "recognized" by the Singapore government? it might limit your promotion aspects.

(again IMO) having prior non-SG military/firearms experience is not an advantage.

Hello,

thank you very much for the response. You are right, there is much to consider. I'll take note of that.

Thanks

There's only one type of PR.
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.
You've been arrested? Law Society of Singapore can provide referrals.
You want an International School job? School website or http://www.ISS.edu
Your rugrat needs a School? Avoid for profit schools
You need Tax advice? Ask a CPA
You ran away without doing NS? Shame on you!
