Employment Pass Advice Needed

Post by rajspy84 » Thu, 17 Aug 2017 5:51 pm

I am offered job in Singapore. I am 6 year experience Automation engg and offered 6500SGD. Consultancy has filed my EP for his client which has very big name in Singapore. I have 2 queries.

1. What are my chances of getting approval early ? any idea. It is applied on 15th Aug. My origin country is India. Last 3 EP of same company is done within 1 week. Please suggest timeline for my case and chances of approval.

2. Also i am not able to check status online. I have application number as well. Whenever i try to check , it gives me error "E0000236 : No record found." Hr is able to see my status after login in and it says "Pending". Please suggest what should i do.

Consultancy + Big client = not necessarily equals to smooth sailing nowadays.

India = expect longer processing time nowadays.

Or you gotta get lucky, very lucky

i mean last time is last month.
Anyway so should i expect timeline of EP process to be 2 months even though for online applications they have mentioned 3 weeks time for most of the cases.

1 week if MOM considers you talented and your employer Is not being watched :)

2 months or more otherwise ..

Good luck.

Now i able to see my EP status online. They also give FIN as well. Do they allot FIN without giving approval ? Let me know who has earlier experience on this.

There are few cases where FIN is allotted and even after that the EP has been rejected. Please wait and do not rush to conclusions.

True. I am just giving update, not jumping to conclusion. anyway EP is highly unpredictable. never know what happens.

Dont need to update us daily, unless there is a change in status. You can update us once there is a change in status. Till then we can assume that it is Pending.

relax. 6 days is still too early..
I think most cases would be 1 month to get the result.

I may sound stupid but how will another person's result influence yours?

Not near as stupid as the poster who asked the question sounds. :???:

You know something, Squirrel, the level of intelligence (and I use that term extremely loosely) of EP applicants has really gong down the crapper in the past 20 years hasn't it. We used to have intelligent discussions on here, but now, unless we old regulars talk to ourselves, it's really pathetic the quality of "expat" that is trying to come here nowadays. They cannot fill out of form, designed for a N level holder to be able to do unassisted, but have to get an agent to do it. They don't have any patience whatsoever and for some undogly reason, think they are the cats meow.

Everybody has the right to be stupid, but they are abusing the privilege!
