Opinions: re-acquiring SPR

Post by taxico » Mon, 14 Aug 2017 10:54 am

opinions needed... not much results (for women) when i searched...

the wife is a naturalized SC (via PTS PR) of many years.

she may have to take up another country's citizenship (not her country of origin), requiring her to give up her SC (because proof of renunciation must be furnished).

do you think it will be easy for her to re-acquire SPR? (through an FTS application this time as her husband is still an SC)

profile: no children. she is of east asian origins and aged 36. she has a degree from a university "recognized" by singapore. no HDB flat. her CPF account to be kept opened in SG.

currently living outside SG (but relocating back to SG is not a problem).

Not even a slim chance to get the SPR approved again.

or in the next election, the MEN in white may revise their policies re: Ex SCs becoming PRs :D to entice the citizens to come home ..

like Philippines Balikbayan scheme ..

(or the SG Gov incentives for SC - foreign medical Grads :D :D )
