Is it possible to convert to Islam and bring in extra wives on an LTVP

As far as I can recall MUIS allows polygamy is the first wife agrees and you earn more than $6000 (per wife?). IF a PR or SC were a muslim man and married a muslim women foreigner could they sponsor the foreign second wife on an LTVP successfully (putting all other LTVP issues aside?). Asking for a friend.
I have gay, black, Asian friends and then JR8.

I would expect the answer is yes.

If they approve it locally, it would be a bit illogical to refuse LTVP.
But I would expect at the same time, MUIS will have a say.

When it comes to ROM or ROMM, the applicants MUST sign a form saying they agree Marriage in Singapore does not entitle the couple to any residency status.

Or something like that :)
