I renewed and got my EP in December 2016. And of course, I have dont medical checkup to fill in the medical report form during that time.
After 7 months, I finally got my PR Approval letter today. Am I needed to go for medical checkup again?
I read the instruction stated in the letter sent to me:
"The medical report should not be issued more than 3 months ago at the time of submission to the department. If a medical report had been submitted to either the ICA or MOM not more than 2 years ago, the applicant will need only to complete the declaration portion of the attached medical form."
the declaration portion of the medical form is something like this:
XXX declare that bla bla bla as I have submitted a medical report containing the above infomation to ICA /MOM bla bla bla on XXX date valid till XXX date.

You still need to do a medical check-up if you are an EP holder and your previous EP medical check-up is less than two-year old.
Just to share my case:
I have a medical check-up done less than two years ago for EP. During the completion of PR formalities, the ICA officer told me that as I am an EP holder, my medical report is a confidential data that MOM cannot share it with ICA. So I need to do a medical check-up and re-schedule an appointment.
