Become a SG PR through SG SC children

The application eligibility says "Aged Parents".

Any reason why not applied through SC spouse?

I assume "Aged parents" are reasonably old, although the ICA website never defines the exact age requirement. As the SC is just an infant, I guess the mother is still quite young thus ineligible to be an "Aged Parent". I could be wrong so anyone please correct me if I am.

PR through that scheme requires adult SC sponsors for the PR applicant (parents).
