Hi Everyone,,
I will be moving to Singapore in few months and doing a background research on a good International School for my little daughter. I have noticed UWCSEA seems to be a good school which is more concentrating on academic side of a student. However, it's starts from age 4 where as my little one is completing 2 for next year. Please share your thoughts about UWCSEA preschool and give your suggestions for an international school which is starting from age 2?
Thank you..

International School for 2 Year Kid / UWCSEA
Re: International School for 2 Year Kid / UWCSEA
No International School starts at 2. They typically start kindy at 4. You need a day care in the meantime or a maid at home.
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.
You've been arrested? Law Society of Singapore can provide referrals.
You want an International School job? School website or http://www.ISS.edu
Your rugrat needs a School? Avoid for profit schools
You need Tax advice? Ask a CPA
You ran away without doing NS? Shame on you!

Re: International School for 2 Year Kid / UWCSEA
Thanks PNGMK for the info. Aren't there any International Schools which start from 2 years at least as play group? The actual requirement is not to find a way to accompany the kid; but to start education.
Re: International School for 2 Year Kid / UWCSEA
Many International Schools are modeled after schools in European countries or European ex-colonies where children do not begin their "education" until 5-7.
A two year old is a baby/toddler. Most two years olds don't have an awareness of themselves as beings with a past and a future. It isn't the right time to begin teaching numbers and letters for most kids. Developmentally, many kids still breastfeed and take naps during the day at 2.
You can take your two year old to any playgroup, it doesn't need to be attached to an International School.
