Hi Team,
My husband, myself and our 8 month old daughter will be relocating to Singapore in October this year. He is coming over for a very demanding assignment and will be working in TJP and so we have made the decision to try and find a place to live in the area to reduce commute time. We have a great accommodation allowance of ~$8K per month and looking at decent sized 3 bedroom apartments (1100 sqf+) with good communal facilities and close to the MRT (which cancels out River Valley area at this stage). We have narrowed down our options based on our criteria to:
- Altez
- One Shenton
- Onze
- Icon
with secondary options for Marina Bay area (The Sail and Marina Bay Residences) which is less preferred as I know the area can be a bit dead over there!
Just looking for opinions on the TJP area and buildings for expats with young families. I've heard Icon is already starting to be a bit run down, and wondering if One Shenton's location is less than ideal being a bit more in the business district?
Also does anyone know when Wallich Residences will be actually 'open'?
