I had mine eyelid job done at Mount E by Dr Harry Fok. Price $1800.00 for both eyes excluding consultation which is less than $100 but beware prepare your questions first b4 seeing him cause he charge by time and he actually has a nurse standing besides him with a stop watch taking time.

Hi Koko
Could I ask why you went to Harry Fok? Did the surgery turn out well?
Did you consider going to Woffles Wu or Martin Huang?
Thanks

Hi Guest, ok Dr Harry Fok was recommended by my beatician who was an ex tcs actor(that was a long long time ago since he was in the entertainment line, sorry for confidential issues i won't be reviewing the name)he has got friend who went to Dr Fok and got great results. My problem is one side of my eye is double eyelid the other side was single, n i had tried a sorts of stuff glue, tape but its always so artificial, with the glue i cannot close my eyes well, tape its so obvious that i always have to frown so that people cannot see my tape and i've been frowning for yrs till this recommendation fr my beautician. Honestly its not only the sugeon must be good and your LUCK on that day of surgery. My right eye originally without the double eyelid turns out satifactory but my left eye i think he miss cue and so its was a bit jagged at the inner line but still acceptable. The nurses there was really friendly n helpful overall i'm quite satisfied. As for Dr Wu n Dr Huang, i did not try to find out more about them because i prefer recommendation by word of mouth someone i know who has close friends or relatives who had done it b4. But i also need to stress must be mentally prepared also cause b4 and after the surgery some people might not be able to take it as you will really looked different with and without double eyelids!!! for me i got very depress after my surgery for the first 2 weeks cause i really looked so different!! my eyes are so much bigger that i don't looked like myself anymore!! N i also worried people ard me will looked at me n keep asking why do i looked like ano person!! i even did a very silly thing by calling up the clinic n ask the nurse if the surgery can be reversed which is obviously cannot loh but gragually the eyes starts looking more naturally than i started to be ok.

Hi MoMo,
Dr Harry Fok is in Spore and his clinic is located at Mount Elizabeth a rather expensive private hospital in Singapore. I did it under general aneasthetic not local. If you like to do it in spore can also consider Dr Woffles Wu or Dr Martin Huang they are well known in Singapore for Cosmetics surgery and there were also rumours most of our local celebrity who rumour to do cosmetic surgery usually goes to them.

You don't have to pay that much if you have droopy eyelid ie. the skin coming over your eyes. My mother who is 55 year old and had a condition called dermatochalasis, she visited the polytechnics and got a referral to the eye clinic in Alexandra Hospital. The surgeon who did the operation also created double eyelids for her, the results look good. She paid only S$540 from her medisave! Now her friends also asked to be referred there of course whether the surgeon will allow the use of medisave depends if he or she thinks you have a serious enough problems!

Heard that double eyelids are done by both plastic surgeons and eye surgeons (eye plastic surgery). Any idea who would be better?

I did mine in Dec in hatyai, well recommended by a few frens who did theirs there.
At first was damn swollen, and obvious, really regretted it. But now a few mths later, it looks really natural and my eyes look big and round, haha, definitely an improvement.
And it only cost 6000 baht! about 280 sgd
of cos u need to fly over and everything. so i did my nose (this doctor is famous for nose) and chin as well. SGD$1000 for a total makeover! hehe, not too shabby

Wah.. sounds a bit scary. I don't think I dare go overseas to do... in case sthg goes wrong. Some of my friends did their eyelids by eye surgeons who specialise in plastic surgery around the eye.. any one with experience?

I have never put a post in the Beauty section before (me and beauty go together like sundaymorningstaple and flower arranging) but I cannot miss this name dropping opportunity! I played squash against Woffles Wu the other night and he is an extremely nice chap!
OK, sorry to intrude narcissists all, I'll let you get back on topic.
Everyone is entitled to my opinion
