Apply PR after 3 months. Any success story?

Post by singvoyage » Sun, 09 Jul 2017 9:58 pm

Hi,

I understand that the earliest someone can apply for PR is after 6 months working in Singapore.

Have you heard of any success story if apply only after 3 months in Singapore under Employment Pass?

Thank you.

If you are a top scientist or an inventor in your field, may be yes. Else, please forget it after just 3 months..

Nowadays applicants are finding it tough to get it approved even after 3 years.

I think I might be guilty of this.

Anyway, for TS, do look up my post history and see if you can find whatever information that you're seeking.

In short, I submitted my application with less than 5 months of salary of my first job and got approved.

But I probably ticked all the right boxes: desired racial profile, late-20s, studied and stayed in SG > 5 years, good academic results, working in high demand industry, etc.

Nowadays it is even impossible to secure a slot in the next six months for submission of application to ICA, not to mention to apply within 3 months after getting EP.

If you check daily around 6:30 , you can probably get one within 2 weeks.

There are appointments coming up all the time , it just depends on the time you check the system.

I applied after 5 months of working in SG. I studied in SG as a kid but left after secondary school and hadn't been back for over 15 years. Moved back to SG to work from 1 Aug 2016, applied 31 Dec 2016, and just got our letter today, approved after 7 months :)

So not quite the 3 months you were asking about, but I guess the chances of approval with less than 6 months isn't zero. All the best!
