How long does the Vet import visit take?

Post by Ellmeg » Sat, 08 Jul 2017 10:10 pm

HI all!

Has anyone done their own pet import process and can advice how long the vet inspection and clearing of all documents take for dogs not undergoing quarantine?

We are trying to figure out at what time to book the pet taxi to pick up my husband there.

Thanks
E

You guys and girls are funny :)

No hubby not a dog, hubby will go pick up dog and then hubby AND dog must travel :)

Any clue anyone?

I can phone up but fear they will say "up to half a day" which is what they write in the confirmation so wanted to know some first hand experience :)

Thanks

Who is shipping your dog? As suggested better ask them first

As mentioned, we are not using a Pet Relo company, we are doing it ourselves. The airline carrier has no idea as they just do the transport.
