Getting EP in your own company

Post by wilou » Thu, 06 Jul 2017 5:09 pm

Hi,
I have been working for many years in singapore (as EP). Last year i have created a company in singapore with a friend (50% shares), but continued to work for my current company, without involving in this new startup (MOM policy don't allow it).
If i plan to resign from my current company and work full time for "my company", is there specific requirements for get EP? i tried SAT tool, it says i am not eligible for EP. Is it mandatory to get a higher salary than currently?
SAT does not check if you are main shareholder of the company, can it help?
thank you

Please do a search for the many threads I have contributed to on this subject. Look up by my handle.

Then, if you still have questions, ask away.
