EP is pending since April

Hi, I got an offer in Singapore and the company itself applied for the EP on 19th April 2017. Still the status is "Pending". Heard that there is a delay on approvals. But, how much delay? Im really confused and curious to know about my pass. Please help me on the following queries...
1) Is this the normal procedure and normal time frame?
2) Is there a possibility to get me rejected and what can be the reasons?
3) How long would an appeal process take?
4) Are there anyone who got their EP approved after April 2017?
5) Is there any way that we can ask/request information from MoM other than looking at the MoM website?

EP approval can be from 7 week to 3 months or longer, depending upon various factors, such as your credentials, if they need to vetted, to your employer - if they are a body shop and being monitored for abnormally high number of Foreigners.

Too many but not many are revealed.

3) How long would an appeal process take?

You should get rejected before appeal. So for now, hope for the best.

4) Are there anyone who got their EP approved after April 2017?

Since that's a general question, the answer is 'generally' yes

5) Is there any way that we can ask/request information from MoM other than looking at the MoM website?

The employer can do that, not you .
