Your S Pass status will be updated to your employer, as I believe this is new application.
Will you get it next week ? Nobody knows !!!
Go enjoy yourself in UK .

I don't know what to say ... Call MOM, or give a deadline to your employer, if you are trying to rush things.
Since you are possibly from Sub-Con (I am guessing), if your application gets picked for vetting, be ready to wait for 2 months to know the status.
Good luck !

1) Nobody knows, from 7 days to 2 months
2) I don't know
3) Yes, but have some faith if you are keen

Tell your potential employer to instruct MoM to have it approved tomorrow and have the IPA letter couriered to your door step then.
Don't you get what the guys here are telling you? MoM needs to vet your educational and professional background.
Once again, your employer doesn't call the shot here, MoM does.
