Got my PR approved!

Post by Lakes » Wed, 07 Jun 2017 4:53 pm

Woo! I just got my PR approved and decided to de-lurk to make a post - since reading this forum was helpful to me in the past when I applied for my EP.

Got approved around 4-5 months after application. I didn't expect it, since I have only been here for a year & am only a fresh graduate with a short employment history.

Here's my profile:
Race / Country - Malaysian Chinese
Gender - Male
Marital Status - Single
Age - Fresh graduate
Education: Bachelor's degree + Master's degree (Overseas universities, degrees unrelated with my current field of work)
Current Field of Work: Technology / Software
Length of Stay - 1 year

Nothing much to do ?

If you have time . Feel free do more research.

Do some volunteer work. Blend into Singapore society .

I already volunteer for some of the local organizations and have integrated a fair bit into the Singapore Society. So How?

Is it some thing rare, for a Malaysian Chinese to get a PR right after graduation?

Nope, I don't think so. Malaysian Chinese is the most favorable race. If you don't get it, non one will.

Anyway, congrats!
