Forum slowing down?

Just wondering.. I wait awfully long when navigating through these forums. It never used to be like this before. Is this a php scripting bug?

I don't have this problem surfing other php forums.

Also contributors and forum items slowing down

I think contributers are slowing down because the site is becoming a bit trashy. Everyone seems to be jumping down each other's throats for little reason.

no, i'm not talking about content. Just the speed it takes to load a page.

I'm on cable and it's lightning fast on any website other than this one. It wasn't always like this.

I took a look at the source code - not that I understand much about php, but this bit here looks like it logs what websites people have surfed in from - could this be slowing everything down?
