Hi this is Erix. My age is 36 years old. I come from Jakarta. Chinese race. I'm getting a job to SG soon (via agency). I'm not sure yet would it be S Pass or E Pass my salary would be around 5K monthly. My job would be on IT industry for S*ngT*l.
I graduated from Malaysia and several times come to SG as tourist. And once come to SG to attend a training from work.
My marriage status is divorced with 2 kids. I plan to go to work in SG for long term. What are the chances for my case to get PR? When I got one I will bring along my kids to school in SG. I plan to work at least 2 years in SG then apply the PR. Anyway how much different school fee for International and PR?
I need an insight about chances getting the PR in SG.

Give me insight of SG PR
Re: Give me insight of SG PR
You need three years working / tax payment first. School PR rates are around $500 pm, International more like $2,000 pm minimum.
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.
You've been arrested? Law Society of Singapore can provide referrals.
You want an International School job? School website or http://www.ISS.edu
Your rugrat needs a School? Avoid for profit schools
You need Tax advice? Ask a CPA
You ran away without doing NS? Shame on you!

3 years? Tax payment would be automatically deducted monthly right?
What about marriage status? Does it matter?

Yes, 3 years per the PR application formerix.halim wrote:3 years? Tax payment would be automatically deducted monthly right?

"A11. Income Tax Notices of Assessment for the last 3 years." But we have seen in this forum and I have friends who applied with nil or one NoA and still got their PR approved. Bear in mind that no two profiles are the same, some got approved with no NoA while some still got rejected with more than 3 NoA.
PAYE tax withholding is not applicable in Singapore. You pay your tax due when you're served with the notice of assessment.
