Area recommendations and best way to find a roommate?

Hi!

I will be moving to Singapore from the US soon and I was wondering what are the best areas in the city for young/single expats to live in?

I am looking for condos and I would like to find a roommate to live with. Are there any recommendations on the best way to find expat roommates in Singapore?
