facelift recomendation

Post by maryt » Thu, 01 Jun 2017 10:00 am

Hi. I am a 52 year old Caucasian based in Singapore. My face is looking old and sad and doesn't reflect how I feel so I am going to consult with surgeons about a natural looking facelift so that I look fresher and less tired.
I would be grateful for recommendations for surgeons who specialise in the face. I am willing to travel if I can achieve equally good results at a more affordable price abroad but I am conscious that it is my face so price would not be the primary deciding factor. Thank you all.

Do consider non-surgical facial contouring. I personally have not done it yet as I am still in my mid 25s so I do not yet to feel the need to do face lift, but I can vouch for Gangnam laser clinic for their efficient treatment. Their treatment is done at a very short time typically. I went there for facial laser and after my third visit my face has never looked better.
Before knowing Gangnam I have been going to some medical spa doctors in Orchard area on monthly basis (I still go to those places btw), but their treatment is not as effective and they tend to push more of the spa side of the treatment (It is twice to thrice pricier than Gangnam). I would only suggest you to go for such spa treatment to complement your skin care routine (for regular maintenance facial to be precise), but for primary care of your skin (skin tightening, removing scar/sunspots, acne/problematic skin), go to Gangnam! Side note: I usually see Dr Gary :)

Hi ,

I suggest you consider
( In order of severity of your skin laxity )

1) Surgical face lift
2) Long Thread lift
3) High intensity focal ultrasound

The choice depends on the severity of your skin laxity. The more effective the method, the higher risk of complications as well as the longer the downtime and the higher the price.

You can pm me if you need more advice.

You can try out collagen products. I'm taking the collagen drink from kinohimitsu, it helps to improve complexion and keep your body young.

There are pretty lot of other japan brand out there too. You may check it out at BHG or OG. If not Watson or guardian do carry these items as well.

I am not sure about surgical facelift, if thats your question.

But if you are considering minimally invasive facelift, then perhaps you can try my doctor. I have had regular aesthetic treatments with him, including a nose lift and facelift using a combination of microbotox, fillers and threads. I liked that he is gentle, and so far, my treatments had nearly no bruising. The result was natural and beautiful. My friends noticed I looked younger, but they couldn't tell exactly what I did. :)

Perhaps you could take a look at this. Hope this helps!
