Internship in Singapore

Hello everyone,

I've got a few questions on internships in Singapore, because I can't seem to find information on that matter anywhere whatsoever.
Im a 19 year old from germany, currently studying for my Bachelor of Science in Economical Information Technology and in my 4th Semester I will be doing a Internship.
Due to having visited Singapore before and my interest in gaining International experience I wanted to do that internship in Singapore.
(If it is important, im studying at a well know University for IT and my grades are 1.1 (out of 1.0 - 4.0 Best to worst)).

I'd like to know if any of you got any information or knowledge about the possibilty of such internships and if there is some kind of Board or Agency that can give me information. Currently I am kind of stuck, not knowing how to first get in contact with Companies.

Most foreign interns here are rotated by overseas companies, eg: French, British, German and such.

I know of very few local companies accepting foreign interns.

You should start your search back home. Or keep searching online, focussing on German companies.

There is no BOARD, or agency that can help you in this regards.

actually i recall there's a singapore startup that specializes in placing interns in and out of singapore.

i can't remember what it's called, but it's received enough funding to expand out of singapore.

google is your friend.

you can also look into a working holiday visa.

Are you looking to get internship specifically for IT roles? If you are open for any role that would have given you broader options (i.e. managerial roles, etc), and I might know some contacts. What are the your requirements?

Im not looking for IT jobs only, the Major im taking is kind of a crossover between IT and Economics. Im specifically looking for an internship thats not 100% IT since only about 40% of what im doing is It the rest is economics. So any kind of company is fine, as long as its professional! and reputable. Also I wouldnt want to do scrappy jobs, like cleaning up ( which has happened before in internships) im there to really learn something, and put myself out there If you could help me get in contact I would be super grateful!

Hello! Did you finally go to Singapore ? I am hesitating between Singapore and Bangkok
