Hi
I am looking for a good practitioner for lasik operation. Any recommendation?
By the way does anyone knows the clinic of Dr Tony Ho at Mt Elizabeth, heard that he is pretty good.

My friend just done a Lasik at SNEC and her experience was very good. 6/6 vision now after years of short sightedness.
I think it cost her around $2000 only.
Useful webby for expats: Blog of nice things you can find in Singapore costing below $2. Updated very regularly.

Hi, Happy
Two years ago I did lasik and cost me $2.250 per eye, my surgeon was Dr. Jon Goh in SNEC, I recommend him highly to my friend and she did last year only $2 K ++ for both eyes, now the price is much cheaper.
You can tell your friend to try Dr. Jon Goh, he is a good doctor.

Did Yr friend has the lastest type of treatment? I heard that prices varies with the type of treatment. Did yr friend received the 3rd Generation Excimer Laser?

I could really do with a lasik surgery and I know that it's a safe procedure and all, still would anyone know whether anyone has gone blind (or even just mildly injured their eyes) through this procedure?
I may be being too cautious but you know what they say, there's always a first time...

Rpammi,
Just go to the SNEC website :
http://www.snec.com.sg/patient/mailing_ ... refractive
Specifying the Doctor you prefer....I am going for my checkup this week with Dr Jon Goh, if found suitable, will be having both my eyes operated! will update. At last I found a thread recommending Dr Jon Goh....he doesn't have that much information online on his experience..was so worried. Thanks!
