Step by Step to employment

Hi, I am a healthcare management consultant, have an MBA qualification, and am currently engaged with a client as VP- corporate planning & research in India. I am seriously thinking about relocating to Sing and finding a suitable employment ( at least S$ 4k ). Are these the steps that I should be taking?

Step1. Travel to Singapore: Apply to Singapore Consulate in India with filled in Form 14. As far as I know, interviewing or seeking employment is not permitted under simple Entry Visa (aka. tourist Visa). So, I should tick the “Visa & Visit Pass”

If you are coming here to search for job You should apply for a
"LONG TERM SOCIAL VISIT PASS
Social Visitor Seeking Employment In Singapore"
With this SVP you are allowed to stay here & look for job.
How do you manage job searching is upto you.....
