ICA won't reveal over the phone or email.
Get somebody to go in person, with an authorisation letter, notarised, to get the detail.
No other way I know of.
I am still miffed how people can lose such important documents.
I doubt these folks fail !!PNGMK wrote:

Those days, IPA was a printed letter, not an email !! So somebody should have filed them, or maybe notsingaporeflyer wrote:1.When EP was approved. They would have emailed an IPA. You can check if you have that?
2. Check your old passport. They would have the FIN Number stated in the multiple entry visa that is stamped in the Passport.
3. Email and ask the employer if they have records of the FIN number.

Employment records past 10 years were purged by her company, and she has gone though 3 passports since that time so the number is lost. We'll keep trying but seems like one needs to be present in Singapore to get that number!
You didn't know you shouldn't throw away your old passports ?nk'mip wrote:Thank you for the help! We are immigrating to Canada actually, who knew they would ask for this! Ive had 9 passports myself, turned them in at 4 different countries, until I found that people were keeping them and I started to do the same. Anyway, Im trying to get help not justify my mistakes in this world, this is causing me alot of grief actually because we are given a time limit to get that number by canadian immigration.
Just remember as much of the number as you can and fill it in. Meanwhile, do what is necessary to get the correct number. The Canadians might not even use it.nk'mip wrote:...we are given a time limit to get that number by canadian immigration.
