Housing in UE Square - River Valley

Post by Prince Charm » Thu, 27 Apr 2017 7:56 pm

Hi All,

Good Day! I am new in this forum.

I am looking for a place to rent. Any idea whether I should rent a place at UE Square near River Valley? Heard that there is a MRT station coming up, and it is near eating and drinking place, and even convenient store around. Has anyone stayed there before? How much should I pay for rental? Thanks

I've rented an OFFICE there. Personally I think the residential stuff there is really only suitable for Short Term Stays (i.e. 1 year). It's a pretty sterile environment.
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.

The condo there is a really nice one, but also on the very expensive side, if your company is paying for it and you can't bank the difference then why not, some nice places around (visiting from time to time) and it is a walking distance to Clarke quay and Robertson Quay, myself i find the place and the surrounding restaurants and entertainment venues to be on the pricey and crowded side on weekends.
Do note that on weekdays it will be mostly quite empty around.

I have not lived there, and have not even considered it, but visited friends there.
