You don't need a contract to enter Singapore.anilkumar55 wrote:Hai sir, my name is Anil from India. Two months back I have applied for in Singapore through agent in India. He gave me the IPA letter on Feb 22nd.And he told we I'll 11 pages contract letter then you can leave. And he booked the tickets for April 27 .Now he was telling we didn't get the contract letter.but you go to Singapore there my agent will take care of all these things.

What do you think a "contract letter" is? Are you thinking it is your offer of employment from the company? If not, what then?anilkumar55 wrote:Thank you for your reply sir.whom can i contact there directly. From airport.if nobody helps me.how can i get contract letter.

True, It says invalid, when I checked on EPOL.sundaymorningstaple wrote:Yeah, but is it a valid one?
BTW, what causes the message invalid FIN No ??
Thinking aloud, I wonder if the person got a WP/TEP/WHP or something ?

Re: About work contract letter
I dunno about those other passes but 'G' is definitely the first letter of an EP FIN number.ecureilx wrote:Thinking aloud, I wonder if the person got a WP/TEP/WHP or something ?
A quick Google search reveals that all foreigner passes will start with G.

Most, not all. I have a fair number of WP holders with passes that also start with F as well. (I think they probably ran out of numbers for F and that is when the G prefix started.Strong Eagle wrote:I dunno about those other passes but 'G' is definitely the first letter of an EP FIN number.ecureilx wrote:Thinking aloud, I wonder if the person got a WP/TEP/WHP or something ?

Re: About work contract letter
If the FIN doesn't match the Passport number it's invalid. Simple.
Agent has probably been using the same Fin number for all of the jobseekers he suckers. Just changes the names on the letter.

EPOL says invalid FIN based on FIN no.sundaymorningstaple wrote:If the FIN doesn't match the Passport number it's invalid. Simple.

I doubt this guy knows the date of application to verify WPOL.
You are right.
