I don't remember student pass being eligible for other dependant passes.

What is your study any way ?

Not much choices.

If you have spare cash, donate to agents who will not change your fortune :)

http://www.ifaq.gov.sg/ICA/apps/fcd_faq ... ?FAQ=30135

Can I sponsor my spouse and child for a Social Visit Pass?

Upon your submission of a Social Visit Pass application to the Visitor Services Centre of ICA, a 6-month Social Visit Pass may be considered for your spouse and child if your Institute of Higher Learning is sponsoring your application. All applications are considered on its own merits
