Singaporean authorities has for years been telling the World that "people" is their only resource for growth and prosperity.

Trouble is they forget which "people" they should had focused on.

That is where capitalism begins to fail the system and society.

That was one main reason why Trump won.
how did the s'porean authorities forget about their people?
while people may feel like they're oppressed when they're not, we have a pretty good infrastructure compared to others. (though certain stuff like to break down...)

How? Same as in the USA. Unequal wealth and income distribution. Policies that allow the wealthy to become more wealthy but nothing for those at the marginalized ends of society. Policies that put the power to govern in the hands of a few well connected, making a mockery of so call "free" elections.
