Hello there,
I am working in the Western part of Singapore, and am thinking of moving into a studio apartment for more privacy. I think there are only 2 places "nearby" with studio apartments (Nottinghill and Hillford), both in the Upper Bukit Timah area.
Has anyone lived in either one of those places before? If so, what is their roof sound insulation like? My biggest concern is hearing very heavy footsteps from my upstairs neighbors. I tried to find a top-floor unit, but none is available, apparently.
(Don't get me wrong. I understand that noise from normal living is expected. But I once lived in an HDB unit and was constantly bothered by heavy footsteps from my upstairs neighbors. It was quite a difficult experience)
Thanks.
