Dear All
My spouse is currently moving to Singapore on an EP. I am moving to Malaysia on Malaysian EP. I am not based in Singapore at the moment.Since I will be visiting my spouse every weekend from Malaysia to Singapore, I was planning to apply for a multiple entry tourist visa. However I understand that I am also eligible to apply for a DP as my spouse satisfies the conditions. My question is, is it possible to hold a Malaysian EP and Singapore DP at the same time and if yes is there any condition on Singapore DP that I need to live in Singapore for certain number of days? just to confirm I Will have no income in Singapore and will not work out of there.
Thanks

I have a similar question. I have an EP in Singapore and my wife has a DP and we are living in singapore for an year now. My wife did not work during this time but now has found a job in Malaysia and will be getting a malaysian EP. she is planning to commute every day. Is it possible for her to retain the DP of Singapore if she is not going to be paid here because she will still be living with me in Singapore.

I personally see no issues. A DP is a visa in effect for your wife to live and work in Singapore and it's not related to a MY EP.
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.
