Dover court or Dulwich, any comments? thanks!

Postby stanleyxxd » Tue, 14 Mar 2017 11:40 am

My boy 10y, potentially considering to move to Singapore this Aug. I am currently looking these two options , any honest comments for both will be really appreciated.(Especially for those who are studying in these two  )

My thoughts:
1. DC, seems more places available, and not require non-refundable application fee and tuition fee is lower(does this mean the scholl is not the most welcomed by parents? Not sure how it goes with the recent taken over by Nord..., feel the facility is bit old

2. Dulwich, seems more selective for the students(based on the assessment need to go thru...), higher IB result for 2016, more expensive than DC

Many thanks!!!

Dulwich was my competing school, when I used to work in Shanghai and Suzhou. The Dulwich schools there, as far as I know, are run very well. It is a very strong brand with good support.

Thanks, do you see Dulwich has more acdemical result advantage? As I got know they are acdemical selective for the admission. Any thoughts on Dover court? I am bit struggling the location as DC is more easy for me.

I am not familiar with Dover Court at all, since I have been working overseas all these while and only returned last year to take over the Hillside World Academy. Dulwich's academic results were pretty good, but I do not have benchmarks with me, back in Shanghai and Suzhou.

Any update on this Stanley?
What was the result of your analysis / findings?
What was your final decision and what did you base it on?
Am in the exact position as you were now myself...
