Double eyelid surgery

Post by charliecharlie » Sat, 11 Mar 2017 11:20 pm

Hi!

this is my first time going to bangkok for Epicanthoplasty and Blepharoplasty. Really cant find much of reviews for the clinic .. Seems like all bangkok plastic surgeries doesnt really have much online reviews?? I was quoted 53500 baht as the promotion price (U.P 61600 baht) for Epicanthoplasty and Blepharoplasty because of the technique they use. Have read on sevearl threads on what to prepare but i'm still quite paranoid.. Really appreciate if you can give some advices on do's and dont's! :)

Btw, Do I have to stay throughout 7 days for stitch removal or i can fly back after 5 days ??

PS: The clinic is call Lovely Eye Clinic

Well you have to make some minor lifestyle changes before surgery, like for example smoking some cigarettes. You should be aware that you should stop smoking 2 weeks before the surgery There is a list of medications and supplements to avoid from 1-2 weeks before surgery. And usually patients are sedated that is why you will be asked to fast 6 hours beforehand.

Thanks for the reply!

i have read alot about the sedation where you can choose between GA and twilight. Does it really make a difference if you use GA or twilight since Blepharoplasty is a small surgery.

General anesthesia and Twilight are both very safe and effective.

For both sedation and general anesthesia, you will be monitored carefully. I notice that a lot of people seem to worry alot about general anesthesia. =P~ But I think it is probably safer than sedation for longer cases. And controlling the airway is performed during general anesthesia, where patients undergoing sedation may fluctuate from breathing well to being oversedated. #-o

Its is your choice actually :D
