Hi members,
I am working on my application for renunciation of my Singapore citizenship. I have been overseas for several years, with no contribution to CPF and am aware that I owe premium to medishield. I am wondering what happens if/when my renunciation application has been approved. Is that balance outstanding and will I still be required to pay? What is the consequence if I visit Singapore and there is an outstanding balance even though I am no longer a citizen?
TIA

Renunciation and Medisheild
Re: Renunciation and Medisheild
Hello.
I am also preparing my paperwork for renunciation.
Did you return to SG and hand in the papers at ICA? If so , did you enter SG with your foreign passport ?
Thank you.

For the OP AK 2017
No relation between renunciation at ICA and medishield
Medishield is under the CPF when you withdraw any monies from CPF then this owing will reflect, since you don't have any, don't bother
