Hello there, I got an offer for a supply chain role with a MNC in Singapore and am assessing whether the offer is attractive enough for me to make the move. The offer is for SGD 90K and I'm estimating income tax of 4.5K for the year meaning that I will be left with 7125 net per month.
I am ideally looking for a 1 bed or master bed in a shared flat somewhere near outram park and found that rents come at circa 2,500-3,000 so I will be left with 4000 per month on other expenses.
As a single 28 year old European with 6yrs experience, how good a salary is it? Would it allow me to live a comfortable life (e.g. going out, playing sports and traveling once a month regionally) and would I be able to save something?
Thanks for your help!

Most of us on local terms these days.
I say come. Don't let mid range salary bla bla put you off. Most workers in Sg earn less than 5k month.
If you are resourceful then you will find a way to survive.

I'd agree with the caveat that you cannot really afford a car on that salary.
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.
You've been arrested? Law Society of Singapore can provide referrals.
You want an International School job? School website or

OP should also be able to cut his rent by a reasonable amount if he were to move a couple of stops out.

I don't see why not.. you can get a decent 1+1
condo for 2300 with the sinking rents and all..should still leave you with a decent amount of money to do various things... take the ferry to Batam/Bintang over the weekends and have a beer, massage in IDR instead of SGD..and buy your groceries on the way back too
To get there early is on time and showing up on time is late
