Who is this freak guy?

Though it looks like Singapore is a great place but actually there is nothing there. Spending 5 years in this small place is next to impossible. I myself stayed there for couple of years fand worked there in HSBC and I almost went mad.....so think of some other place than Singapore
Why don't you try somewhere in UK/USA?
US will suit both of you. You have major telecom players there so your husband can easily get into something....
And for you IBM itself is there. So what to worry?

ex-HSBC Guy, don't you get it : Someone is just trying to express their feelings about Singapore that is all, so why become so insulting. Singapore is not everyone's cup of tea you know. It has its advantages and disadvantages, just like anywhere else in this world. So, stop being so impertinent!!

It is very difficult for people to get used to the humid weather of Singapore and it takes a great deal of patience and perseverance to settle down here even if it's just for a temporary period of time. How would you know that................. : Have you ever lived outside of this small island ever and if so where : So, there is no need to be so insolent towards other people's feelings and opinions regarding Singapore.

It is not only the weather but also it's social scene. Look at jt3's topic and how popular it has become :!: Singapore is not only small, humid, culturally diverse but also a racist place to live in, the racism is beyond comprehension for a small island like Singapore...

These are the very same people who would shout and scream if they were treated unfairly anywhere else in the world, (based on the color of their skin and racial aherence).

Gosh,
can't say how i cliked on this post, but i just figured out the starting post.
Its in Bangle, the language spoken in the eastern part of India and Bangladesh. It translates to:

" Oomigosh(exclamation) Will you go to Singapore?"

I have little to say on what it means beyond the translation. No bengalis are not freaks, the language is endowed with much history, literature and a revered status among other Indian languages.
Yes this guy sure seems to be a freak!
