Help Please

Post by bces » Sun, 05 Mar 2017 11:36 pm

Hello - I have quite a bit of experience in Human Resources. I led HR for a Fortune 1000 company. Any advice on how I can find a good HR position in Singapore?

Thanks!

Frankly speaking, I find your statement points directly to the opposite of your claims. Anybody who has headed up an HR department in a Fortune 1000 company should already know how to accomplish that. That includes using the various tools to get inside a company and find out the heads and those who can advance your desires and where to get leads. If you cannot even do that, you have less chance than a newbie graduate from SHRI. Blunt? Maybe. But I've been both a Headhunter and in HR for over 20 years and an HR Mgr for an SME here for the past 12 of them.

Normally one of the best ways to secure the right position is to find ways to reach out with people with the right skill sets and connections (even people like you - except for your arrogant attitude). Thanks for reminding me there are people like you in every country.

You am sure, was a great HR person, great enough to not to do any leg work :)

good luck finding connections..

PS, did you read how protected the HR segment is, In Singapore? I can safely say 95% or above is manned by locals, and MOM isn't fond of passes for foreign HR folks, except in MNCs ... I am sure you know all that.

You're a dick head. Go play in the traffic on the PIE during rush hour.
