Believe it or not Singapore water charges are quite a bit less than what I pay in Houston. Converting per cubic meter charges to US gallons, and SGD to USD results in about USD 9.75 per thousand gallons if you are living in Singapore. I pay about USD 12.30 per thousand gallons in Houston.

Amazing, considering Singapore uses osmosis and other water recovery projects, while we drain our aquifers and cause the land to sink.

i'm not in singapore right now, but my wife has kept Channel News Asia running on her tv.

after part 1 of the PAP propoganda film "The Last Drop" aka "Hyflux indebted to PAP forever", CNA followed up by airing a segment called "World View" which, in their view, shows nothing but how the rest of the world has no water.

first in damascus, and now pakistan ("water used to be free!").

The Last Drop also shows how singapore's neighboring countries all need fresh/clean water but ain't got none.
