Kiwi moving back to Singapore after 6 years away
Kiwi moving back to Singapore after 6 years away
Hello. I left Singapore to move back to New Zealand in 2010 to get the girls back into school so they went through the NZ school system for their formative years. The girls and I have decided to see if it is possible to move back to Singapore as no matter how hard we tried we really miss Sing. Has anyone left and come back again after a bit of a gap and how difficult was it to get an employment pass again? I was in Singapore for 10 years before we went back to NZ. Would be grateful for any advice. Am in the legal world

You have mail. It's been a while hasn't it.

I did two large breaks away - 1996 to 2000 and then 2001 to 2005 or so. I found it ok to come back but finding work was the key as expected. It is a rat race but a good time to come back as rentals are dropping again. I'm a PR tho so your mileage may vary.
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.
