After school and summer activities for kids in international schools?

Post by Ellmeg » Mon, 13 Feb 2017 10:03 pm

Hi all!

I have 2 questions somewhat related.

When the kids are in International Schools, they follow different calendar than local schools.

Therefore:
1) Is there possibility to access extra curricular activities offered also for local kids (i.e. instrument lesson?)
2) if both parents work, are there available camps during the International School holidays? We would not cover all the holidays with the camp but a mix of parents, grandparents, camps and maid.

Thanks for your input :)

1. yes money solved everything
2. not so much - the local camps seem to be synced to the local school year - your International School people should know what sync's up with their year in terms of availability.
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.
You've been arrested? Law Society of Singapore can provide referrals.
You want an International School job? School website or http://www.ISS.edu
Your rugrat needs a School? Avoid for profit schools
You need Tax advice? Ask a CPA
You ran away without doing NS? Shame on you!

Hello,

Are there sports camp for children during schools breaks? For example soccer, archery, baseball, basketball. I heard of Fast Break school; has anyone tried their camps?

I look forward to hearing your experience and advice!

My school is running 8 weeks of summer camps, but it is more for English enrichment than anything else.

Thank you very much for your response. Where can I get more information of your summer camps?
