Nice try. I thought we were talking about why a potential sponsor would or would not feel secure in backing me, based on my ability to pay for such problems as arrests, medical problems or my financial condition. That's what I attempted to address. If I give a sponsor who happens to be a
property owner enough upfront money for a 3 month rental, that appears to me to be one reason to trust me.
I never, in any previous comments, tried to build a case that ICA(or you) should be impressed(or awed) by my financial resources. I do not expect or hope ICA will grant an extension for these reasons. Alternatively, I hope ICA would see that for any extension I have enough financial resources to pay for that extension(I can prove this by submitting my current Thai and U.S. checking accounts statements).
To suggest that ICA will approve any extension would be foolish, no question. My strategy is to use the above, together with what I hope they will see is my reason for the extension and a sponsor, to grant me that one time extension. I choose NOT to share that reason with this readership.
